When it comes to our money, we know we need to prepare for retirement, plan for major milestones (like paying for your child’s college education or wedding), pay off debt, and make saving a priority. But what about those more complicated planning issues that can make or break your legacy, like healthcare and long-term care in retirement and estate planning? Are you hoping you have enough saved for the potentially sky-high bills, or that excessive taxes won’t eat away at your estate before it can pass to the next generation? Trust me on this: you don’t want to leave this part of your finances to chance.
That’s where I come in. The Estate, Legacy & Long-Term Care Planning Center of Western NY provides pre-retired professionals, retirees and seniors with the specific knowledge and informational tools that they need to make fully informed decisions on these very important planning matters.
What I Do
What it comes down to is this: I work closely with you to help you protect and preserve the assets you’ve worked so hard to attain over your lifetime, making sure you are fully prepared for whatever comes your way. As a leading legacy and long-term care planning expert in our area, I make it a priority to design a plan that is tailored to your unique financial situation and your stated planning goals and objectives.
I focus on two specific areas with my clients – Legacy Planning and Long-Term Care Planning – exploring all available planning strategies that will protect your financial assets from unexpected long-term care needs during your lifetime and also maximize what gets passed down to your children and grandchildren as your financial legacy. Too many people are caught unaware when these planning issues become a problem, and it’s often too late to change things. That’s why I take a proactive approach to these issues so you can experience peace of mind throughout your retirement years. To me, that is what it’s all about.
How I Can Help You
My free consultative services will allow you to better understand all of your options for preserving and protecting your retirement life savings from exorbitant nursing home costs and excessive income taxation that your chosen heirs will face when they inherit your assets. The key question that I focus on when working with my clients is centered around how we can most effectively and efficiently utilize your existing resources to accomplish those planning objectives.
Three times each month, I also give free estate, legacy, and long-term care planning informational workshops throughout our community, educating and equipping attendees with the information they need to make the best decisions for their own unique situations.
While the clients that I work with come from all walks of life, they are generally between the ages of 50-85, have done an excellent job of accumulating assets for their retirement, and are now in or nearing the distribution or deaccumulation phase of life. They care deeply about their families and are committed to leaving a legacy for their loved ones. They know they need to prepare well in order to see their dreams become a reality, so they seek out education and assistance along the way.
What Makes My Practice Unique
I believe clients choose to work with me because they know right from the start that I am an expert in my field and have their best interests in mind. My objective advice and independence give my clients a sense of trust and comfort, and they appreciate having an informational advocate and sounding board that they can rely on for factual information. Second, I do not charge a fee for my services. My job is to educate and empower you to make fully informed decisions based upon your stated objectives.
