Meet Bill
My role is to be an educator. I offer complimentary legacy and long-term care planning consultations to pre-retired professionals as well as current retirees who not only want to preserve and protect their retirement assets from the high cost of long-term care while they are alive, but also have a strong desire to maximize the financial legacy that they leave to their kids and grandkids when they eventually pass away.
I do not charge a penny for my services. Instead, I’m here to be an informational advocate for you. What you do with the knowledge and guidance that you receive from me is purely up to you.
The one thing that I’m NOT is an investment advisor. I leave that part to my clients. Some of them manage their own investments, while others prefer to work with a local professional. (I’m more than happy to recommend you to an advisor I know and trust if you would like help managing your investments.)
I like to say that I specialize in everything that an investment advisor doesn’t. Although I’m well-versed in tax and estate planning matters, I often refer my clients to trusted estate and elder law attorneys, who can use their expertise to help us implement your legacy planning strategies.
At The Estate, Legacy & Long-Term Care Planning Center of Western NY, my goal is to make sure your estate is in the best order it can be from a legacy, long-term care, and probate-avoidance standpoint.
I take great pride in the fact that I have over 30 years of legacy planning experience, and can help you transfer your wealth with minimal taxation and maximum peace of mind.
I look forward to meeting you!
What I Do
The Estate, Legacy & Long-Term Care Planning Center of Western NY provides pre-retired professionals, retirees and seniors with the specific knowledge, informational tools and guidance that they need to make fully informed decisions on these very important planning matters.
I focus on two specific areas with my clients – Legacy Planning and Long-Term Care Planning – exploring all available planning strategies that will protect your financial assets from the exorbitant cost of an unexpected and prolonged long-term care need during your lifetime and also maximizing the Finaancial Legacy that will be passed down to your children and grandchildren by as your financial legacy. Too many people are caught unaware when these planning issues become a problem, and it’s often too late to change things. That’s why I take a proactive approach to these issues so you can experience peace of mind throughout your retirement years. To me, that is what it’s all about.
How I Can Help You
My free consultative services will allow you to better understand all of your options for preserving and protecting your retirement life savings from exorbitant nursing home costs and excessive income taxation that your chosen heirs will face when they inherit your assets. The key question that I focus on when working with my clients is centered around how we can most effectively and efficiently utilize your existing resources to accomplish those planning objectives.
Three times each month, I also give free Estate, Legacy, and Long-Term Care Planning informational workshops throughout our local community, educating and equipping attendees with the information they need to make the best decisions for their own unique situations.
While the clients that I work with come from all walks of life, they are generally between the ages of 50-85, have done an excellent job of accumulating assets for their retirement, and are now in or nearing the distribution or deaccumulation phase of their financial lives. They care deeply about their families and are committed to leaving a meaningful legacy for their loved ones.
What Makes My Practice Unique
I believe clients choose to work with me because they know right from the start that I am an expert in my field and have their best interests in mind. My objective advice and independence give my clients a sense of trust and comfort, and they appreciate having an informational advocate and sounding board that they can rely on for factual information. Second, I do not charge a penny for my services. My job is to educate and empower you to make fully informed decisions based upon your stated objectives. What you do with that education is purely up to you.

Have you created a solid legacy and long-term care plan yet? My goal is to help you get your overall planning in these areas in the best possible order so that you can rest easy and thoroughly enjoy your retirement years and be ready for whatever comes your way.
